L K Property Services renovated this old garage into a new stylish brick and timber garage whilst also moving the doors to the front elevation. 

This renovation project was to replace the existing parapet wall as it became porous. As you can see not only have we re built the brick wall but also added a lead tray so the new wall will never leak again.

At L K Property Services we often find ourselves replacing old doors & windows and replacing other decayed timber on the older properties as we work on period houses a lot so nothing is too awkward us.

The roof tiles on this barn had come to the end of their working life, L K Property Services fitted new breathable roofing felt, replaced the timber tile battens and fitted new clay plain tiles to the barn roof.

The existing brick work had started to decay and as you can see the top haunching had split and was letting water into the property. We re built the brick work, replaced the cracked clay chimney pot and re haunched the top of the chimney.

L K Property Services renovated eight dormer windows to this period property. We repaired the leaking areas of the dormer windows and sealed the old porous lead work and painted the wood work after thorough preparation.

The original exterior walls were only one skin of brick work thick with no cavity so the bedroom was very cold and damp. As you van see we battened the walls and fitted 100 mm thick insulation and then plasterboard, plastered and decorated.

This chimney stack had an inferior fillet of mortar with no lead flashing. As you can see we have removed this section of the roof and fitted new lead flashing and fixed stainless steel beading to the chimney stack and applied render for a proper job that is now water tight.

L K Property Services carry out all aspects of renovation work. As you can see the first project was to render a rotten chimney stack. The second project was to replace an old timber dormer window with a new maintenance free uPVC window.
